About This Website

This website publishes research-based guides about pickleball paddles, shoes and court setup equipment. Every page is assembled from published information: manufacturer specification sheets, published product documentation, publicly available governing-body equipment standards, and publicly available consumer and safety guidance.

We do not claim hands-on testing, laboratory measurement, or private access to equipment. When a page describes a paddle's weight, core material, grip size, surface finish, or a shoe's outsole pattern, that description reflects what the manufacturer or another published source states — not something measured here. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than picking a number and presenting it as settled.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pickleball equipment manufacturer, retailer, or governing body.

Affiliate Disclosure

This website participates in the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

In plain terms: some links on this site point to products listed on Amazon. If you follow one of those links and buy something, Amazon may pay this website a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to Amazon directly — the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your wallet.

Commissions do not change what appears on this site or how it is described. A product is not covered more favorably because it earns more, and a product is not left out because it earns less or nothing at all. Federal consumer protection rules require that material connections like this one be disclosed clearly to readers, and this section exists to satisfy that expectation [S2].

Privacy Policy

What is collected. This website uses standard web analytics to understand how pages are found and read. That typically includes the page you viewed, the approximate region derived from your IP address, the referring page or search engine, your browser type, device category, and the time of your visit. Our analytics provider, Google Analytics, sets a first-party cookie (_ga) that stores a client ID, a persistent pseudonymous identifier that links your visits across sessions, and collection happens at the individual user and event level rather than only in aggregate. Cookies and similar browser storage are also set by affiliate link tracking, which records that a visit originated here.

What is not collected. This site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not run newsletter sign-ups, quote forms, or other lead-capture tools. Payment details are never handled here; any purchase you make happens entirely on the retailer's own site, under that retailer's privacy terms.

How it is used. Analytics data is collected at event level and reported to us in aggregated form, which tells us which topics readers care about and which pages need rewriting. The data is not sold, and it is not used to build advertising profiles of individual readers.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private-browsing mode that discards them automatically. Browser-level tracking controls and ad-settings pages let you opt out of much of this collection. General guidance on consumer privacy rights and where to raise a complaint is published by the U.S. government's consumer protection resources [S2].

Email requests. When you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide and the contents of your message. Messages to [email protected] are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox so we can review and respond to your request. Avoid including payment details or other information that is unnecessary for your request.

Terms of Service

By using this website you accept these terms. The content here is published for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and nothing on this site should be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or from the equipment manufacturer.

Specifications, availability, and prices change without notice, and information accurate on the day it was written may be out of date when you read it. Always confirm current details on the manufacturer's or retailer's own listing before buying. Equipment rules for sanctioned play are set by the relevant governing body and can change; verify approval status directly with them.

Pickleball is a physical activity carried out at your own risk. Follow manufacturer instructions and safety warnings for any paddle, footwear, net system, or court surfacing you use. Safety recalls and product hazard notices for consumer products in the United States are published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and checking those notices before or after a purchase is a reasonable precaution [S1].

Text and layout on this site are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction is not permitted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, this website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and it is not liable for losses arising from use of the information here. Third-party sites reached through links on this site are governed by their own terms and policies, not ours.

Editorial Policy

Standards. Pages state plainly what is known and what is not. Claims about materials, dimensions, weights, certifications, or standards compliance must trace back to a published source; where no such source exists, the page says the information is unavailable rather than estimating.

Sourcing. We prefer primary documentation — manufacturer specifications, official standards documents, and government publications — over secondary summaries. Product-safety and recall information comes from the Consumer Product Safety Commission [S1], and consumer-rights and disclosure guidance comes from official U.S. government consumer protection resources [S2].

Independence. No manufacturer or retailer reviews, approves, or pays for placement in our content before publication.

Corrections. Errors are fixed on the page where they appear, and substantive corrections are noted rather than quietly overwritten. Pages are revisited when a product line changes, a standard is updated, or a reader flags a problem.
